This animation is my first exploration into animated lip sync using the song “Something About Us” by Daft Punk. Originally I had illustrated a man singing, but I wanted to darken the lips so they would be more visible. The vulnerability of the song + man in lipstick singing just didn’t look appealing, so I decided to illustrate a female lead instead. I think she works a lot better.
